The following delivery charges apply to orders placed via www.normansoffice.co.uk for delivery by courier:
Delivery charges are determined by the delivery address of the customer. Customers are very welcome to collect orders from either one of our branches in Billingham or Scarborough. 90% of our stock is located in our Billingham warehouse but can be transported overnight to Scarborough for collection. Orders must be placed beforehand and we would suggest you check stock availability before travelling.
Please note that the above delivery charges exclude items from the “FURNITURE AND WORKSPACE” section. Please contact us for a quote on delivery charges on the items you are requiring as we are only able to deliver office furniture to addresses in the North East of England. We reserve the right to amend any carriage charges without giving prior notice.
We will aim to despatch your order within 2 business days from receipt of your payment, if it is received before 5pm. Our delivery services will require a signature on receipt of the parcel. Our carriers may attempt delivery at any time between the hours of 8.30am and 5.30pm. We therefore advise that you provide a shipping address where you or a representative, can sign for delivery.
We despatch parcels by courier companies including DPD, ParcelForce and Royal Mail. This method is fully secure and we can track and trace the order for you. Orders placed by this method should reach you on the following working day from despatch, though there may be delays. UK Mainland orders will be delivered by DPD and if you provide your mobile phone number, you can use DPD's Predict service which will give you a 1 hour delivery window informing you when your parcel will be delivered. We will endeavour to ensure that goods leave our fulfilment centre as early as possible, providing the item is in stock or on the same day the goods reach us from our suppliers. Please note that goods despatched on a Friday will normally be delivered on the following Monday. Orders placed on a Saturday or Sunday will normally be despatched the beginning of the next working week.
Please note that we cannot guarantee the stock availability of any order and some items may take longer than quoted. If for any reason we can not fulfil your order we will endeavour to contact you immediately, by email or telephone with the option of an alternative product, keeping the specified item (subject to availability) on order or cancellation of the item(s) with which we will provide you with a full refund on the said product(s).
Free Delivery Website Offer
Orders over £30 (ex.VAT) may be eligible for free delivery if there is a website offer running at the time of order and if the order is for delivery to a UK mainland address. Orders for deliveries to Scottish Highlands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland and the Channel Islands are excluding from the free delivery website offer.
We want you to be fully satisfied every time you purchase goods from Normans but we understand that occasionally you may wish to return items. Below is our returns policy:
Under the distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel an order within seven working days of purchase or within seven working days of receipt of the goods (whichever is the longer). This does not apply to items personalised or made to your specifications. Should you wish to cancel your purchase within seven working days, please contact us in writing, either by letter or by email. All items must be appropriately packaged and returned within 14 Days, unused in their original packaging in a saleable condition and the tags still attached (if applicable) along with the invoice to:
